TRAFFIC ALERT: NB I-49/Indian Creek Bridge CLOSED One Lane at a Time in McDonald Co. Starting May 10

Where: Northbound I-49 CLOSED one lane at a time over Indian Creek (Mile Marker 11.4) near Anderson

When: Beginning 6 a.m., Wednesday, May 10 until further notice

What: Northbound I-49/Indian Creek bridge CLOSED one lane at a time to allow MoDOT crews to repair bridge deck/driving surface, beginning in the left (passing) lane.

Traffic Impacts:

  • One lane of northbound I-49 CLOSED over Indian Creek at a time where crews are working
    • Crews will begin work in the northbound left (passing) lane
    • Upon completion of that work, crews will shift to the northbound right (driving) lane
  • No signed detour
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the work zone
  • Drivers should find alternate route
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
