SIKESTON— Southbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from Exit 52 to Exit 49.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
