CASS COUNTY – MoDOT Kansas City will be making intersection improvements at the intersection of Route C and Peculiar Drive beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 16 until approximately August 2023. For this work, crews will CLOSE Schug Ave. at Route C. Additionally, there will be closures in the parking lot of the Sanders Center. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
