ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use I-270 this weekend should be aware of several ramp closures as part of on-going maintenance work along the corridor.
All work is weather permitting. This weekend’s scheduled work includes:
- I-270 at I-55: Crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-270 to Lemay Ferry and to north bound I-55 (Exit 1A), starting Friday, May 5 at 9 p.m. until Monday, May 8 at 5 a.m. Drivers can use the loop ramps to Lemay Ferry (Exit 1B) to access Lemay Ferry or take westbound I-255 back to northbound I-55.
- I-270 at I-64: Crews will close the ramps from southbound I-270 to eastbound I-64 (Exit 12B) and from northbound I-270 to westbound I-64 (Exit 12 ). Ramps close on Friday, May 5 at 9 p.m. until Monday, May 8 at 5 a.m. The detour route for the southbound I-270 to eastbound I-64 ramp will be to take westbound I-64 to Mason Road, cross over the interstate and head eastbound on I-64. The detour route for the northbound I-270 to westbound I-64 ramp will be to head east on I-64, exit at Spoede and get back onto westbound I-64.
- I-170 at I-270: Crews will close the ramps from northbound I-170 to eastbound I-270 (Exit 10B). The ramp closes on Friday, May 5 at 9 p.m. until Monday, May 8 at 5 a.m. Detour for this closure will be to take northbound I-170 to westbound I-270 (Exit 10A), exit at Lindbergh (Exit 25) and get on eastbound I-270.
