UPDATE: Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, May 1 to May 12

HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Adair County

Route O – May 8 – 12, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route D to Missouri Route 6 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. daily.

Audrain County

Route C – May 9 – 11, CLOSED for core drilling operations from Route T to Route CC between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily Tuesday through Thursday.

Macon County

Route P – May 9, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Destiny Avenue to 2 miles north of Dynamo Place between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Missouri Route 149 – May 1 – May 9, LANE RESTRICTION from one-half mile before and after the bridge over Painter Creek, for bridge maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Montgomery County

Interstate 70 (Eastbound) – May 1 & 2, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance on the bridge over Loutre River from mile marker 167.4 to mile marker 168.4, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Interstate 70 (Eastbound) – May 10 & 11, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from mile marker 183.6 to mile marker 184.2, between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Randolph County

U.S. Route 63 (Southbound) – May 11, LANE RESTRICTION for pavement patching operations from one-half mile south of U.S. Route 24 to two miles south of U.S. Rte. 24, between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Shelby County

U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – May 1 – May 12, LANE RESTRICTION for pavement patching operations from Monroe City to Clarence between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily Monday through Friday. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Work with us in the work zone!  Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel.  With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.  Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
