Route 72 in Cape Girardeau County Impacted for Light Installation

SIKESTON---Route 72 in Cape Girardeau County will have a 12-foot width restriction as  contractor crews work on the shoulder to install roadside lighting. 

This section of roadway is located from Route PP to Route 25 in Jackson, Missouri.  

Weather permitting, work will take place Friday, May 12 through Thursday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.   

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
