PROTECT NOFO and Webinar Opportunities

FHWA has released the Promoting Resilient Operations for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost-Saving Transportation (PROTECT) Discretionary Grant Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).  Applications are due via grants.gov by August 18, 2023.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law established the PROTECT Discretionary Grant Program to help make surface transportation more resilient to natural hazards, including climate change, sea level rise, flooding, extreme weather events, and other natural disasters through support of planning activities, resilience improvements, community resilience and evacuation routes, and at-risk costal infrastructure. This NOFO offers up to $848 million from Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023.
