Rescheduled: Pavement repairs will close lanes and ramps along I-49 at 155th Street on April 28

 

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation have rescheduled their plans regarding pavement repairs that will require the following traffic changes on Interstate 49 at 155th Street. Work will now be beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 28, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists may need to seek alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.

  • Crews will close the right most lane of northbound and southbound I-49 between MO Route 150 and 155th Street beginning at 7 p.m. until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
  • Crews will close the on ramps from 155th Street to northbound I-49 beginning at 7 p.m. until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
  • Crews will close the on ramp from MO Route 150 to southbound I-49 beginning at 7 p.m. until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
