JACKSON COUNTY – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation have rescheduled their plans by one day regarding pavement repairs that will require the closure of the eastbound Interstate 70 ramp to MO Route 7. Work will now be beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes during this time. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
