Resurfacing Projects Scheduled to Begin in Warren County

HANNIBAL –  A resurfacing project located on Route B Warren County, from Interstate 70 near Pendleton to Missouri Route 94, is expected to begin the week of May 1.

The $2,485,000 contract, awarded last year to Pace Construction of St. Louis, Missouri.  The contract includes two additional resurfacing projects in Warren County which are anticipated to begin later in May. All work is scheduled to be completed by early June:

  • Route OO – From Route M to Route T near Innsbrook
  • Route O - From Route M to Missouri Route 47 near Marthasville

Traffic will be reduced to one lane during the day at the location where crews are actively working for the duration of the project, For the safety of the crews and the traveling public, we would like to remind drivers to be attentive in work zones and make smart, safe driving choices behind the wheel, including putting down your cell phone to eliminate distractions.

Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone.  Workers will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, weather permitting. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project.  All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.

Work Zone Awareness Week is April 17-21. Work with us in the work zone!  Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel.  With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to  pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.  Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
