Pavement improvements continue for several routes in Jefferson City

U.S. Route 54, Missouri Route 179 and Route B impacted

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – A resurfacing project continues to impact motorists on several routes in Jefferson City. Crews from Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to continue pavement repairs, replace guardrail, and begin paving routes over the next several weeks. Their planned schedule of work is listed below. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

April 17-20

  • Guardrail work
    • Missouri Route 179 at Mission Drive, at the U.S. Route 50 ramps, and at Country Club Drive
  • Pavement repairs
    • S. Route 54 from Stadium Boulevard to the Missouri River Bridge
    • Route 179 at Industrial Drive/West Truman Boulevard

April 24-28

  • Guardrail work on Route 179 at Country Club Drive and north of West Main Street
  • Pavement repairs on Route 179 at Missouri Boulevard

May 1

  • Paving to begin on Route 179 and Route B
