HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Macon County
Missouri Route 156 – April 17, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Mercury Avenue to Rte. H between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Missouri Route 156 – April 17, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Neptune Road to CR 243 in Knox County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Missouri Route 156 – April 18, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from January Place to Interior Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Missouri Route 156 – April 19, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Iceberg Avenue to Hilton Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Missouri Route 156 – April 20-21, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Hilton Avenue to Harness Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route KK – April 24 & 25, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Olympic Avenue to CR 201 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Montgomery County
Interstate 70 (Eastbound) – April 18 & 19, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from mile marker 179.6 to mile marker 180.0 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Interstate 70 (Eastbound) – April 24 & 25, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from mile marker 183.6 to mile marker 184.2 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Interstate 70 (Westbound) – April 26 & 27, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance on the bridge over Loutre River from mile marker 169.0 to mile marker 168.0, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Ralls County
Route H – April 17-19, CLOSED for brush cutting operations from Route HH to Route A between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Scotland County
Route A – April 24, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route U to CR 116 between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Shelby County
U.S. Route 36 (Westbound) – April 17 – April 28, LANE RESTRICTION for pavement patching operations from Monroe City to Clarence between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily Monday through Friday. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
