CLAY COUNTY – Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing barrier wall work along both directions of Interstate 29 in the Northmoor area on both Thursday, April 13, and Friday, April 14. Motorists should anticipate possible delays in the area and are encouraged to plan ahead. All work is weather permitting.
Thursday, April 13
- Work will require the left lane closure of both directions of I-29 from approximately mile marker 2.8 (about U.S. 169) to mile mark 3.8 (about I-635) from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 13.
Friday, April 14
- Work will require the left lane closure of both directions of I-635 from approximately Horizons Parkway to just south of the Missouri River from approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 14.
Motorists will need to use caution in the area and may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
