Nighttime Ramp Closures Scheduled on Interstate 70 in Montgomery County

HANNIBAL –  Weather permitting, temporary traffic impacts are currently scheduled for the week of April 24, affecting several ramps on Interstate 70 between mile marker 167 and mile marker 179.

Resurfacing continues along the I-70 corridor in Montgomery County from the Callaway County line to just east of Route F, near High Hill. The ramps at the following locations are scheduled to close from 8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.  April 24-28 to allow for milling and asphalt placement:

  • I-70 EB ramps  to truck parking rest area at Danville (mm 167)
  • I-70 WB at New Florence (mm 175)
  • I-70 WB at High Hill (mm 179)

Work is anticipated to be completed in two nights.  All work is weather dependent and schedule changes could occur.

The public will be notified of traffic impacts, including ramp closures, through signs, message boards, news releases and social media as scheduling is planned.  All work zones are online at www.modot.org/northeast.
