CLAY COUNTY – Crews will be making pavement repairs along northbound and southbound Interstate 35 between Fishing River and the Clinton County line. This work will require single lane closures in the both directions of I-35, restricting the area to one lane of traffic, daily beginning on Monday, April 10, through approximately early November 2023. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, expect delays in the area, and consider alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
