CLAY AND JACKSON COUNTIES – Crews will be making bridge repairs along northbound and southbound Interstate 29/35 between 16th Street and The Paseo now through Tuesday, April 25. The work will require the following traffic changes. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and seek alternate routes if necessary.
Thursday, April 6
- Beginning at 7 p.m., crews will CLOSE the right lane of southbound I-35 from Front Street to The Paseo until 6 a.m. the following morning for bridge repairs.
- Beginning at 7 p.m., crews will CLOSE the ramp from Front Street to southbound I-25 until approximately 6 a.m. for bridge repairs.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
