Woodland School Road over I-70 to close for bridge project

Intermittent lane closures possible on I-70

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – A bridge rehabilitation project will close Woodland School Road over Interstate 70 in Cooper County beginning next week. Crews from E & C Bridge, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to close the bridge on Woodland School Road over I-70 on Monday, April 10, weather permitting. The project is expected to continue through July 2, 2023. During the closure, motorists need to use an alternate route.

For the duration of the project, motorists may encounter intermittent, single-lane closures on I-70, both directions, under the bridge, at mile marker 109.8.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
