WILLOW SPRINGS – Route A in Oregon County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement resurfacing.
This project is part of Gov. Parson’s Rural Road program. The state’s approved Fiscal Year 2023 budget provided an additional $100 million in General Revenue for work on Missouri’s low volume rural roads. Using asset management data, MoDOT has identified approximately 1700 lane miles of low volume roads ranked in Poor Condition. By the end of this summer, these 113 locations will receive resurfacing treatments of hot asphalt to improve the road conditions.
This section of roadway is located from Missouri Route 19 to Route E.
Weather permitting, work will take place Thursday, April 13 through Friday, April 21 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, includes weekend if necessary.
As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
