CLAY AND JACKSON COUNTIES – Crews will be making bridge repairs along northbound and southbound Interstate 29/35 between 16th Street and The Paseo beginning on Monday, April 3. Work will include a one lane closure and various ramp closures in each direction of I-29 nightly beginning at 8 p.m. each evening until approximately 6 a.m. the following mornings, beginning on Monday, April 3, through Tuesday, April 25. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and seek alternate routes if necessary.
Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6
- Beginning at 8 p.m. each evening, crews will CLOSE the right lane of northbound I-29/I-35 from The Paseo to Front Street until approximately 6 a.m. the following mornings.
- Beginning at 8 p.m. each evening, crews will CLOSE the ramp from The Paseo to northbound I-35 until approximately 6 a.m. the following mornings.
- Beginning at 8 p.m. each evening, crews will CLOSE the ramp from northbound I-35 to Front Street until approximately 6 a.m. the following mornings.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
