JEFFERSON CITY, Mo –Contractors with Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to begin pavement repairs tomorrow, Tuesday, April 4. This work is the final stage of a resurfacing project that included Route CC from Route E to Route 52, signal work at two intersections on Business Route 54 in Eldon, resurfacing on sections of Route 52, Business Route 54, and more than five miles of Route M.
Crews plan to begin pavement repairs on Route CC at the intersection of First Street in Eldon and on eastbound Route 52 near the westbound Business Route 54 on-ramp.
Work is set to take place during daylight hours, 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., daily. Single lane closures will be in place with flaggers guiding motorists through the work zone.
In addition to the pavement repair, the contractor also plans joint sealing, bump grinding and striping to complete the project. Schedules for the additional work will be provided as it becomes available.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
