JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be making bridge repairs along Interstate 49 at Harry S. Truman Drive in Grandview that will require the following traffic changes in the area. There may be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.
Monday, April 3
- Crews have extended the closure of the left lane of southbound I-49 over Harry S. Truman Drive until approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, for temporary pavement marking removal and installation of permanent pavement markings. This work will require intermittent double lane closures beginning at 4 a.m. on Monday, April 3, until approximately morning rush hour.
- Motorists should note that the intermittent dual lane closures may be required again between the morning and evening rush hour on Tuesday, April 4, if this work is not totally completed on Monday, April 3.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
