St. Louis Work Zones March 30 - April 5

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use I-255 to travel between Illinois and Missouri across the Mississippi River should be aware that westbound traffic will shift to the eastbound bridge overnight tonight.

On Thursday, March 30 by 5 a.m., one lane in each direction will be closed on I-255 between Illinois and Telegraph Road, and two lanes of westbound traffic will have moved to the eastbound lanes.

In addition, crews will also close the ramp from westbound I-255 to Koch Road by Thursday, March 30 at 5 a.m. Drivers who use that ramp will need to continue on westbound I-255, take the next exit (Exit #2) to Telegraph Road, head east on I-255, and take the ramp from eastbound I-255 to Koch Road to detour.

Drivers who use I-64 and I-270 may want to consider alternate routes or allow extra time March 31-April 3 as MoDOT will close lanes on I-270 as well as a ramp near the interchange for the weekend.

Weather permitting, crews will close two lanes on northbound and southbound I-270 as well as the ramp from eastbound I-64 to northbound I-270 on Friday, March 31 at 9 p.m. The work is weather permitting.  The lanes and the ramp will reopen Monday, April 3 by 5 a.m.

Drivers can use Route 141 or Lindbergh Boulevard as alternate routes, or continue on eastbound I-64 to Spoede, exit at Spoede and take westbound I-64 to get to northbound I-270.
