JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be making bridge repairs along Interstate 49 at Harry S. Truman Drive in Grandview that will require the following traffic changes in the area. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes at this time. All work is weather permitting.
Monday, March 27
- Crews will CLOSE the right two lanes of southbound I-49 over Harry S. Truman Drive beginning at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday, March 27.
- Beginning at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, March 27, crews will re-open the two right lanes but the LEFT LANE WILL BE CLOSED until approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, April 3. This will reduce the area to two lanes of traffic.
- Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 27, crews will CLOSE the ramp from the west outer road to southbound I-49 until approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, April 3.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
