Rescheduled: Lane and ramp closures scheduled for portion of I-435 beginning March 27

 

PLATTE COUNTY – Crews have rescheduled their plans regarding resurfacing work which will require various nightly lane and ramp closures along portions of Interstate 435 from approximately I-29 to the Kansas State Line. Work has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, March 27, through approximately mid-June. Crews will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27 with the following  traffic changes. All work is weather permitting and subject to change. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and seek alternate routes if needed.

Monday, March 27

  • Crews will close the ramp from southbound I-29 to southbound I-435 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.

Tuesday, March 28

  • Crews will close the ramp from southbound I-29 to southbound I-435 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.
  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-435 to southbound I-29 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.

Wednesday, March 29

  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-435 to southbound I-29 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.
  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-29 to southbound I-435 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.

Thursday, March 30

  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-29 to southbound I-435 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.
  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-435 to northbound I-29.

Friday, March 31

  • Crews will close the ramp from northbound I-435 to northbound I-29 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.
  • Crews will close the southbound I-435 ramp to 120th Street (Route D) beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.
  • Crews will close the 120th Street (Route D) ramp to northbound I-435 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.

Saturday, April 1

  • Crews will close the ramp from 120th Street (Route D) to Southbound I-435 beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.
  • Crews will close the Northbound I-435 ramp to 120th Street (Route D) beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning for asphalt milling and paving.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
