JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be making bridge repairs along Interstate 49 at Harry S. Truman Drive in Grandview that will require the closure of the turnaround from the southbound I-49 outer road (W Frontage Rd.) to the northbound I-49 outer road (E Frontage Road) beginning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, until approximately 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 26. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes at this time. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
