Changes Coming to Neosho Boulevard/Daugherty Road Intersection in Neosho March 19

Neosho – Drivers will no longer be able to make left turns from Daugherty Road on to Business Route 60 (Neosho Boulevard) or to cross the highway when MoDOT maintenance crews make changes to the traffic flow at the intersection overnight on Sunday, March 19, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

MoDOT crews will install traffic control devices in the center turn lane on Business Route 60 that will prevent drivers on Daugherty Road from turning left on to Business Route 60 or to drive across the highway. Drivers will still be able to turn left from the center turn lane on Business Route 60 to Daugherty Road.

The changes are being made to improve safety by reducing the chances of right-angle crashes at the intersection.

The changes will be made to the intersection between 7 p.m., Sunday, March 19 and 7 a.m., Monday, March 20.

Weather and/or scheduling delays will alter the work schedule.
