Closure scheduled for portion of Route Y on March 14 in Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY – Crews will be completing culvert replacements along Eastbound and Westbound Route Y between NE1251 and NE1301 daily beginning at 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14. During this time, the road will be completely closed in the area and motorists will need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
