MoDOT to close New Halls Ferry Rd. under I-270 from 8 pm, Fri., Feb. 24 until 5 am, Sat., Feb. 25

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who regularly use New Halls Ferry Road at Interstate I-270, should be aware of upcoming lane closures in that area. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will temporarily close both directions of New Halls Ferry Road under the I-270 bridge between Dunn and Pershall roads, from 8 p.m., Friday, February 24 until 5 a.m. Saturday, February 25.

The closure will allow crews to drive pile for the bridge foundations, during this second stage of the new I-270 bridge over New Halls Ferry Road. Travelers are encouraged to use Dunn and Pershall roads between West Florissant Avenue and Old Halls Ferry Road throughout this closure.

The closure and construction work are part of the $278 million I-270 North Project infrastructure upgrades.
