Road to Close on Missouri Route 23 in Johnson County

LEES SUMMIT – Weather permitting, Feb. 21-24, 27-March 3rd, MoDOT crews will be shaping ditches on Missouri Route 23 in Johnson County. The road will be closed at 950NE to 1125NE between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Motorists will need to use alternate routes for closures during these times.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
