JEFFERSON COUNTY – Drivers who regularly use Route E in Jefferson County should be aware of an upcoming closure the week of Feb. 27.
Starting Monday, Feb. 27, there will be daily road closures on Route E, south of Summerset Lake and north of McGehan Road. The daily closures will take place from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. as crews clear trees and brush from the area. Motorists will need to take an alternate route.
The project should take three to four days to complete, weather permitting.
