MoDOT Selects Tabitha Locke as North County Area Engineer

ST. LOUIS -- The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has selected Tabitha Locke as an area engineer assigned to North St. Louis County. In this role, Locke will serve as MoDOT’s primary point of contact in the North St. Louis County area and coordinate with local agency partners, community leaders, federal, state and local officials, businesses and the public.

Locke began her career with MoDOT in 2015 at the Maryland Heights Project Office as a construction inspector in North St. Louis County. She has vast experience working with multiple area teams, as well as construction projects in North St. Louis County, including  I-270 North, and the Road to Saving Lives design-build.  Locke most recently served as the assistant to the resident engineer in Southwest St. Louis County.

Locke is a 2018 graduate of MoDOT’s APEX cross training program gaining valuable insight into bridge maintenance, highway safety and traffic, along with planning and programming.

Locke received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is a registered professional engineer in Missouri.
