Lane closures scheduled for eastbound Chipman Road at Murray Road on Jan. 12

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will CLOSE various lanes at the intersection of Chipman Road and Murray Road beginning at 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12. This closure is for overhead sign work. All work is weather permitting.

  • Crews will first CLOSE the left thru lane and left turn lane of eastbound Chipman Road at Murray Road beginning at 7 a.m.
  • Once work in the left lanes is completed, crews will CLOSE the right thru lane and the right turn lane of eastbound Chipman Road at Murray Road.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
