CASS COUNTY – Stormwater drainage improvements will require a complete closure of 17th Street (MO Route 58) at MO Route 291 until Friday evening, Dec. 9. Northbound and southbound MO Route 291 will be open but there will be no access onto or off of 175th Street during this time. Motorists must find alternate routes as there will not be a signed detour. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
