What: East and westbound I-44 traffic slowed and possibly stopped near Mulroy Road (Missouri Route 744) in Strafford
When: 1 a.m., Thursday, December 1
Details: Streetwise crews installing a new electrical line across I-44 in Strafford. Crews will set up the work zone the night of Wednesday, November 30.
Traffic Impacts:
- East and westbound I-44 traffic slowed or stopped for up to 10 minutes at 1 a.m. on Thursday, December 1
- Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers will slow traffic on I-44
- Ramps and lanes will be CLOSED from 11 p.m. Wednesday, November 30 to 2 a.m. Thursday, December 1, for safety reasons at the following locations:
- Glenstone to eastbound I-44 ramp CLOSED
- Glenstone right turn lane and left turn lane CLOSED onto eastbound I-44 ramp
- North and southbound U.S. Route 65 to eastbound I-44 ramps CLOSED
- Mulroy Road (Missouri Route 744) to I-44 ramps CLOSED
- Missouri Route 125 westbound I-44 ramp CLOSED
- Missouri Route 125 right and left turn lane CLOSED onto westbound I-44 ramp
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
