TRAFFICALERT: Expect Nighttime Ramp CLOSURE on Westbound I-44 at Exit 82A in Greene County Dec. 1

Where: Westbound I-44-to-southbound U.S. Route 65 on ramp at Exit 82A in Springfield

When: 9 p.m., Thursday, December 1 until 3:30 a.m., Friday, December 2

What: Contractor crews will CLOSE the ramp to repair/replace damaged guardrail

Traffic Impacts:

  • Ramp CLOSED to traffic where crews are working
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • No signed detours
  • Drivers should find alternate route
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
