SIKESTON— Northbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement work.
This section of roadway is located from Exit 49 to Exit 52 near New Madrid, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Dec. 12 through Friday, Dec. 16 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
