SIKESTON—U.S. Route 61 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform drainage repairs.
This section of roadway is located from Route 162 to Main Street in Portageville, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place from Tuesday, Nov. 29 through Friday, Dec. 9 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
