MoDOT to hold public meeting to discuss future project on Route 100

ST. LOUIS – Residents who use Route 100 (Manchester Road) between I-270 and Route 141 in St. Louis County may want to attend an open house style public meeting about the corridor December 7.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold the open house-style public meeting to share information about an upcoming project in 2024. The project will replace culverts over Great Glaize Creek and Glaize Creek, renovate the westbound bridge at I-270, update sidewalks and signals within the corridor, and resurface the roadway between Ballas and west of Route 141.

The meeting will be between 4 and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 7 in the Des Peres Lodge, 1050 Des Peres Road, Des Peres MO 63131.

During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share information about the project, schedule, and expected impacts to commuters for the project, discuss project plans and hear concerns from residents along the corridor.

There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. December 7.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a comment form will be available at https://www.modot.org/route-100-manchester-road-between-i-270-and-route-141 before the meeting.  People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the roadway until Wednesday, December 21.

This meeting will allow the public to get information about the project and to provide comments, either directly to the engineers or in written comments, on potential impacts due to the construction of this project.
