Where: Missouri Route 97 at Lawrence County Road 2140 south of I-44 near Stotts City
When: Beginning Thursday, December 1, 2022
What: MoDOT crews changing signs at the intersection of Route 97 and County Road 2140 to reconfigure the traffic pattern
Traffic Impacts:
- Yield sign removed on southbound Route 97 at County Road 2140 and replaced with stop sign
- Stop signs on east- and westbound County Road 2140 removed
- New traffic pattern requires southbound Route 97 traffic to stop at the intersection while allowing east- and westbound traffic to flow freely
- Electronic message boards will alert drivers approaching the intersection to the new traffic pattern
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
