ENGINEERING POLICY GUIDE (EPG) UPDATES ON PRELIMINARY PLAN APPROVAL
LPA projects have always been required to receive preliminary plan approval by a MoDOT District representative prior to submitting ROW plans for review and approval. The EPG has now been updated to clearly reflect this requirement and also includes a LPA Preliminary Plan Approval Memo for the MoDOT District representative to provide their approval. Updated language has been provided in the following sections: 136.1.3.2 Preliminary and Final Design, 136.7.2.1.6 Roadway Plans, 136.7.2.2.5 Preliminary Design.
