Intermittent lane and ramp closures scheduled for I-49 between Harrisonville and Belton on Nov. 4

 

CASS COUNTY – Crews will be completing resurfacing work along various portions of northbound and southbound Interstate 49 that will require intermittent lane and ramp closures along I-49 between Harrisonville and Belton beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Friday, Nov. 4. This work will require the following closures and motorists may need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

  • Beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, until approximately 7 a.m. the following morning, crews will have the following intermittent closures. Motorists should also expect various lane closures.
    • Crews will close the I-49 on and off ramps at MO Route 58 intermittently.
    • Crews will also close the I-49 on and off ramps at MO Route 7/275th Street intermittently.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
