ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Repairs to a damaged signal cabinet will require the signals at Buchanan County U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway) and Route 6 (Frederick Boulevard) in St. Joseph to be turned off for approximately two hours on Sunday, Nov. 6.
Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will replace a portion of the signal cabinet that was damaged in a summer lightning strike. To safely make the repairs, the signal will be powered down from approximately 7 to 9 a.m. on Sunday morning, Nov. 6.
While the signals are down, stop signs will be in place and drivers should treat the intersection like a four-way stop.
