CASS COUNTY – Due to various delays, crews have extended the schedule regarding pipe crossing and intersection improvements that require the TOTAL closure of 175th Street (MO Route 58) at the intersection of MO Route 291 until approximately late afternoon on Friday, Nov. 11. Northbound and southbound MO Route 291 traffic will flow as normal but there will be NO ACCESS onto or off of 175th Street in the area. Motorists must find alternate routes as there will not be a signed detour. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
