CASS COUNTY – Crews will be completing resurfacing work along various portions of northbound and southbound Interstate 49 beginning at 9 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, through Sunday, Oct. 16. This work will require the following closures. All work is weather permitting.
Thursday, Oct. 13
- Crews will close the right most lane of southbound I-49 at Cass Parkway, as well as the southbound I-49 on and off ramps at Cass Parkway beginning at 8 p.m. until approximately 7 a.m. the following morning.
Friday, Oct. 14
- Crews will close the right most lane of southbound I-49 at Cass Parkway, as well as the southbound I-49 on and off ramps at Cass Parkway beginning at 8 p.m. until approximately 7 a.m. the following morning.
Saturday, Oct. 15
- Crews will close the right most lane of southbound I-49 at Cass Parkway, as well as the southbound I-49 on and off ramps at Cass Parkway beginning at 7 p.m. until approximately 7 a.m. the following morning.
- Crews will close all four of the I-49 on and off ramps at MO Route 58 beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, until approximately 7 a.m. the following morning. Motorists will need to seek alternate routes during this time.
Sunday, Oct. 16
- Crews will close the right most lane of northbound I-49 from approximately MO Route 58 to 163rd Street, as well as the northbound I-49 on and off ramps at MO Route 58 and 163rd Street beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
