TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 571/96 Lanes CLOSED, 4-Way Stop Configuration for Signal Repair Until Oct. 13

Where: Missouri Route 571 (Garrison Avenue) & Missouri Route 96 (Central Avenue) in Carthage

When: Now until Thursday, October 13

What: MoDOT crews will repair damaged signal arm beginning Wednesday, October 12

Traffic Impacts:

  • All eastbound Route 96 (Central Avenue) lanes CLOSED
  • Northbound Route 571 (Garrison Avenue) right turn lane CLOSED
  • Traffic signals flashing red, intersection controlled as four-way stop
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes
  • No signed detours are planned
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
