CASS COUNTY – Crews will be completing resurfacing work on portions of northbound Interstate 49 at MO Route C/J and Peculiar Way this week. This work will require various lane and ramp closures in the area. Motorists may need to seek alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will be completing resurfacing work in the rightmost lane of northbound I-49 at Peculiar Way that will require the CLOSURE of the on and off ramps to northbound I-49 from Peculiar Way beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
Sunday, Oct. 9
Crews will be completing resurfacing work along northbound I-49 from Route C/J to Peculiar Way that will require the CLOSURE of the right most lane of northbound I-49 in the area, as well as the CLOSURE of the northbound I-49 on and off ramps at Route C/J and Peculiar Way. This work will begin at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, until approximately 6 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
