MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Newton County Route E/Shoal Creek Bridge OPEN to Traffic

Where: Newton County Route E bridge over Shoal Creek near Granby

When: As of noon Monday, October 3

Details: This bridge closed in June while contractor crews rehabilitated the bridge.

This bridge was included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Contractor crews resealed the bridge deck/driving surface. The project also included adding new barrier walls, striping and new guardrail at this bridge and at the Route E bridge over the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe Railroad tracks just north of Shoal Creek.
