SIKESTON—Route U in New Madrid County will be closed as contractor crews perform railroad maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from Route U to North 4th Street in Lilbourn, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will be performed Sunday, Oct. 9 through Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
