TRAFFIC ALERT: Jasper Co. Route Z CLOSED at KCS RR in Carl Junction for Crossing Work Sept. 21-22

Where: Jasper County Route Z at Kansas City Southern Railroad crossing in Carl Junction

When: 7 a.m., Wednesday, September 21 through 5 p.m., Thursday, September 22

What: Railroad crews working on the crossing

Traffic Impacts:

  • All lanes of Route Z CLOSED between Terrill Lane and Missouri Route 171 in Carl Junction
  • Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel across the railroad
  • No signed detour
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
