Weekend closure scheduled for MO Route 58 at MO Route 291 this weekend Sept. 16-19

CASS COUNTY – MoDOT will be completing culvert pipe work that will require a TOTAL CLOSURE of eastbound and westbound MO Route 58 at MO Route 291 beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, until approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19. Northbound and southbound MO Route 291 traffic will flow as normal but no access onto, or off of MO Route 291 via MO Route 58 will be permitted. Motorists on MO Route 58 will need to seek alternate routes. This work is part of roadway resurfacing improvements along MO Route 58. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
